A couple of videos have surfaced on YouTube lately displaying what appears to be the next generation of Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Starting a major topic on social media over the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 details. The ads were primarily presenting the company’s brand new AMOLED display, which is presumed to have superior capabilities compared to its predecessors, or other screens for that matter.
It appears that Samsung is betting on the new screen as a way to promote the new phone. Which is expected from a company that is known to produce some of the best screens in the market. It is said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature two display sizes of 5 and 6 inch, and that it will incorporate a standard 3.5mm audio jack and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU. Memory-wise, the Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 6GB with the chance of having an option for 8GB of base RAM with no indication to expandable memory. Galaxy S8 is also expected to feature a 3000 mAh, non-detachable Li-Ion battery which sparks questions about the battery replacement process. However, there is no clear indication to whether the mysterious phone featured in the ad is in fact the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with 2 high definition cameras, a back one of 12MP and a selfie cam of 8MP. Price-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch at 64,999 Rs (954.53 USD) and about the same price in the US for the base model if you include taxes with a launch date sometime this summer.
